I also liked Magic Mike, but it could have been much more. I like your idea of replacing the ecstasy with steroids. It would have given a fresher perspective into the seedy underbelly of the stripping world. Boogie Nights is one of my favorite movies of all time. While Magic Mike is not in the same class as Boogie Nights, it was still a good movie. I actually liked the sister though. I know she was wooden, but she reminded me of someone I know, so to me, she was believable.
